What to Expect
The Cowboy Church of the Sequatchie Valley is an evening-long event that is hosted every second Saturday of the month from April to November. Here is what you can expect when attending the services: 5:00PM Central Time/6:00PM Eastern Time: Kids enjoy a pony ride, along with “chuck wagon chow” for the entire family. The chuck wagon will serve appetizers and drinks. These activities end 15 minutes before services begin. 6:00PM Central Time/7:00PM Eastern Time: The Cowboy Church program begins. The services begin promptly, so we encourage all participants to arrive on-time. Enjoy live music, horses, and a message where we dig into God's Word the Cowboy Way! Our Cowboy Church services are distinct in that they focus on discovering what God has to say about horses in the 200+ scriptures found in the Bible that are all about horses! Our horses put on a presentation that will allow you to appreciate the bonds all creation shares between the Creator and the Earth. All of our times are posted in both Central and Eastern Times since our Dude and Guest Ranch is located on the line between the two time zones.
'Round Up the Family' for some good Ole Fashion Cowboy Fun!!
Contribute to Our Mission Fundraisers
Once a month, usually following Cowboy Church, we host a mission fundraiser known as the Old- Fashioned Country Barn Dance and Chuck Wagon BBQ Dinner. By joining these functions, you can have good ole fashion fun all while supporting a worthy cause! Your participation and contribution will support our Horsemanship Mission Projects in Tennessee and Central America. The cost of the fundraiser is on a donation basis! The Horsemanship Mission Project uses 'hands-on horsemanship' in conjunction with the many horse scriptures found in the Bible to bring the Word of God to children, teens, and adults. Our aim is to empower people in our communities and build fellowship that exceeds borders.
So 'round up the family' and bring them out for a fun night of Old-Fashioned Country Barn Dance. Don't worry if you don't know how to dance the old-fashioned way, because we have instructors to lead the way! If you’re a little shy, there’s always great food and delicious barbecue to share. These gatherings are always a great time to bond, kick back, and have fun.
So help support our missions outreach in Tennessee and abroad! If you have a large group that will be attending let us know ahead of time by calling 423-554-4677 or emailing us at PonyExpress@TNHorsevacation.com and include the number attending and their ages.
Checks should be made payable to SVIPA Mission Fund. Please note that this event is not tax-deductible since services are being provided with the event fee. Any donations exceeding the event fee would be tax-deductible. If you would like to sponsor a family to attend who needs financial assistance, that portion would also be tax-deductible.
